How to submit samples

Please order NMR service from the NMR laboratory by logging in using an NMR service form with the exception of NMR chromatography below.

You can save money by bringing your samples ready dissolved in an NMR tube or you can ask us to prepare the sample for you.

• Choose your NMR experiments
• Prepare an NMR sample or ask us to prepare it for you
• Log in and fill out an NMR service form (or download it)
• Bring it to the NMR lab (see map)

You may also register for access to the laboratory so that you can visit outside office hours when it is convenient for you by logging in and reviewing safety procedures. Bring a magnetic card to use as a keycard.

You will receive your spectra by email.

Use the instruments yourself

Institute of Chemistry users are encouraged to use the instruments themselves.

With the help of the laboratory working instructions, learn to use the instruments from the NMR team (NMR service charge applies) or from another user.

Show the NMR team that you know how to run a ¹H NMR spectrum on your own.
