Research Interests
I am studying the spectroscopy of molecules trapped in rare gas matrices. This environment is analogous to crystals of noble gas at very low temperatures (from 10 K to 60 K, depending on the rare gas). I make use of this rigid and cold medium to study Intramolecular charge transfer (ICT) processes induced by light excitation. In particular, I am checking what are the factors determining the occurrence of ICT.
