Welcome to Sandy Ruhman's

Our lab is a part of the Institute of Chemistry and the Farkas Center for Light-Induced Processes at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

We apply ultrafast spectroscopic methods in order to investigate chemical dynamics in the condensed phase. Systems explored range from light activated proteins, to single atomic anions in solution, with an emphasis on state of the art time resolution and broadband spectral coverage. In this site, you can learn about our home-built laser system, browse the main areas of our  interest, see current and past group members, and read some of our lab's publications.
