בחודש הבא יש סיכוי קלוש מאוד לראות את הירח בעין בלתי מזוינת מדרום הארץ ביום חמישי, א' תשרי תשע"א. מירושלים בשעה 19:07 הירח יהיה באזימות °½261 וברום °½1 וייתכן ראייה בעזרת משקפת או טלסקופ. מהר חזקיהו, יש סיכוי קטן מאוד שהירח ייראה בעין בתלי מזוינת ביום חמישי בין השעות 19:05 ו- 19:10. בשעה 19:05 הירח יהיה באזימות °261, ½1 אגרופים (°½15) שמאלה משקיעת השמש וברום ½1 אצבעות (°½2). ביום שישי, ב' בתשרי תשע"א, הירח עשוי להיראות לעין מירושלים בין 18:41 ו-19:54. בשעה 18:41, הירח יהיה באזימות °½245, ¼1 זרתות (°½30) שמאלה משקיעת השמש וברום ¼1 אגרופים (°½13). הירח ייראה ביום חמישי מאוסטרליה, דרום אפריקה, אמריקה ואולי מדרום הודו.

Next month, there is a tiny chance that the Moon will be seen with the naked eye from the south of Israel on Thursday, 9^th September 2010. At 19:07, the Moon from Jerusalem will be at azimuth 261½° and altitude 1½° and may be seen with binoculars or a telescope. From Mt. Hezkiyahu, there is a very small chance that the Moon will be seen with the naked eye on Thursday between 19:05 and 19:10. At 19:05 the Moon will be at azimuth 261°, 1½ fists (15½°) left of the sunset and 1½ fingers (2½°) high. On Friday 10^th September 2010 the Moon is expected to appear between 18:41 and 19:54.
