  הירח נראה אתמול מהארץ, פרטים בהודעה הבאה.

  

   למעוניינים, בית דין ברח' באר שבע 8, בירושלים מתכוון לשחזר גביית עדות החודש היום, יום שלישי, ג' בכסלו בין השעות 16:30 ו-17:30. אם אפשר או אם תרצה לקבוע שעה אחרת נא להתקשר למזכיר ב-025661962 או 0506733831 לתאם את הגעתך מראש.

 

  בחודש הבא ייתכן שהירח יופיע ביום שלישי, א' תמוז תשס"ט בארץ ורוב העולם. מירושלים (ודומה לכך בשאר הארץ) תיתכן ראייה בין 19:57 ו-20:32 והירח יהיה קשה לראייה. בשעה 19:57 הירח יהיה באזימות °293 (°½5 שמאלה ממקום שקיעת השמש) וברום °½7. ניתן לראות את הירח הערב בדרום מערב ארה"ב בעזרת משקפת או טלסקופ ואילו מחלקים של אוסטרליה הירח ייראה רק ביום שלישי.

  לגבי קידוש לבנה יש לציין שמה שכתבתי בהודעה הקודמת הייתה סקירה קצרה וקיימת דעות נוספות. טעיתי בעניין התימנים הבלדיים (למעט הדרדעים) שנוהגים לברך אחרי שלושה ימים. מומלץ למי שרוצה לדייק במנהג להתייעץ עם הרב שלו.

  ניתן להוריד את תוכנת לונקל 3.1 בטה 4 עם תיקונים לכמה תקלות קלות. אני מקווה שזוהי הגרסה האחרונה לפני הסופי. נא למסור לי בהקדם אם תמצאו תקלות נוספות.

  A beit din (religious court) at 8 Beer Sheva St., Jerusalem intends to reconstruct the receiving eyewitness reports between 16:30 and 17:30 today, Tuesday 26th May 2009. If possible or if you want to arrive at a different time, please call the secretary on 025661962 or 0506733831 to confirm.

 

  Next month, the Moon may be visible from Israel and most of the World on Tuesday 23rd June 2009. From Jerusalem (and similarly for the rest of Israel) the Moon may be visible from 19:57 till 20:32 and will be difficult to see. At 19:57 the Moon will be at azimuth 293° (5½° left of the sunset) and 7½° high. From the south-western USA the moon may be visible tonight with binoculars or a telescope. From parts of Australia the Moon will only appear on Tuesday.

  Regarding Kiddush levana, one should note that what I wrote in the previous message was a brief summary and there are additional opinions. I also made a mistake regarding the Baladi Yemenites (except the Dardaim) who make the blessing after three days. Whoever wants to be sure of what custom they should follow is advised ask his rabbi.
