בחודש הבא הירח יופיע בארץ ורוב העולם ביום שני ב' סיון תשס"ט. מירושלים (ודומה לכך בשאר הארץ) תיתכן ראייה בין 19:30 ו-20:56 והירח יהיה קל מאוד לראייה. בשעה 19:30 הירח יהיה באזימות °½291 (°½4 שמאלה ממקום שקיעת השמש) וברום °½15. הירח. הירח ייטה ימינה. ניתן לראות את הירח יום קודם בדרום מערב ארה"ב בעזרת משקפת או טלסקופ ואילו מחלקים של אוסטרליה הירח ייראה רק למחרת.

The Moon was easily seen from Israel on Sunday 26^th April 2009. The previous day, the Moon was as expected not seen even with binoculars in a clear sky.

Next month the Moon will appear from Israel and most of the World on Monday 25^th May 2009. From Jerusalem (and similarly for the rest of Israel) the Moon may be visible from 19:30 till 20:56 and will be very easy to see. At 19:30 the Moon will be at azimuth 291½° (4½° left of the sunset) and 15½° high. The Moon will tilt to the right. From the south-western USA the moon may be visible with binoculars or a telescope a day earlier. From parts of Australia the Moon will only appear the following day.
