בית דין ברח' באר שבע 8, בירושלים מתכוון לשחזר גביית עדות החודש ביום רביעי ג' שבט בין השעות 16:00 ו-16:45. מומלץ להתקשר למזכיר ב-025661962 או 0506733831 לתאם את הגעתך מראש.

בחודש הבאה, הירח יופיע מהארץ ורוב העולם ביום חמישי ב' שאדר תשס"ט. בדרום אוסטרליה דרוש מכשיר אופטי לראות את הירח ואילו תתכן ראייה בעין יום קודם בארה"ב. מירושלים (ודומה לכך בשאר הארץ) תיתכן ראייה בין 17:23 ו-19:03 והירח יהיה קל מאוד לראייה. בשעה 17:23 הירח יהיה באזימות °½259 (°1 שמאלה ממקום שקיעת השמש) וברום °20.

The beit din (religious court) at 8 Beer Sheva St., Jerusalem intends to reconstruct the receiving eyewitness reports between 16:00 and 16:45 on Wednesday 28th January 2009. If possible, please call the secretary on 025661962 or 0506733831 to confirm that you wish to attend.

Next month, the Moon will appear from Israel and most of the World on Thursday 26th February 2009. In southern Australia optical aid will be required but by contrast, the Moon may be visible a day earlier in the USA. From Jerusalem (and similarly for the rest of Israel) the Moon may be visible from 17:23 till 19:03 and will be very easy to see. At 17:23 the Moon will be at azimuth 259½° (1° left of the sunset) and 20° high.
