נא לחפש את הירח מהארץ ורוב העולם ביום שלישי ב' שבט תשס"ט. מאוסטרליה הראייה תתאפשר רק למחרת. מהארץ הראייה תהיה קל. מירושלים, ודומה לכך משאר הארץ, תיתכן ראיית הירח בין השעות 17:09 עד 18:12. בשעה 17:09 הירח יהיה באזימות °½245 (°½3 שמאלה ממקום שקיעת השמש) וברום °½12.

אני מתכוון לצפות מגבעת רם, ירושלים. נא להתקשר אלי ב-0523849276 אם ברצונך להצטרף ולדווח על התצפית שלך.

בית דין ברח' באר שבע 8, בירושלים מתכוון לשחזר גביית עדות החודש ביום רביעי ג' שבט בין השעות 16:00 ו-16:45. מומלץ להתקשר למזכיר ב-025661962 או 0506733831 לתאם את הגעתך מראש.

Please look for the Moon from Israel, and most of the World on Tuesday 27th January 2009. The Moon will not be visible from Australia until a day later. From Jerusalem and similarly for the rest of Israel, the Moon may appear from 17:09 to 18:12. At 17:09 the Moon will be at azimuth 245½° (3½° left of the sunset) and 12½° high. The Moon will be easy to see from Israel if it is not cloudy.

The beit din (religious court) at 8 Beer Sheva St., Jerusalem intends to reconstruct the receiving eyewitness reports between 16:00 and 16:45 on Wednesday 28th January 2009. If possible, please call the secretary on 025661962 or 0506733831 to confirm.
