נא לחפש את הירח ביום חמישי א' חשון תשס"ט. הירח יהיה מאוד קשה לראייה. מירושלים (ודומה לכך משאר הארץ) תתכן ראייה החל מ-17:00 ועד 17:19 כאשר בתחילה הירח יהיה באזימות °238, °½16 שמאלה ממקום שקיעת השמש וברום °½4.

נא לדווח אלי (royh63@gmail.com או 0523849276) על תצפיותיכם. בנוסף, מתכוון בבית דין בירושלים לשחזר גביית עדות החודש מחר ביום ששי ב' חשון תשס"ט בין השעות 12:00 ו-13:00. מי שראה את הירח בחידושו מוזמן לגשת להעיד ברחוב באר שבע 8, ירושלים. היכנסו בדלת החיצוני וישר דרך הדלת הפנימי. נא להתקשר למזכיר בית הדין ב-025661962 או 0506733831 או לשלוח פקס ל-025664137.

Please look for the Moon from Israel and most of the World on Thursday 30thOctober 2008. From Jerusalem (and similarly for the rest of Israel) the Moon may be visible between 17:00 and 17:19. It will be very difficult to see. At 17:00 the Moon will be at azimuth 238°, 16½° left of the sunset and 4½° high. From northern Europe the Moon will only be visible the following day.

Please report your sightings to me (royh63@gmail.comor 0523849276). In addition, a beit din (religious court) in Jerusalem intends to reconstruct the receiving eyewitness reports of seeing the Moon (see the above picture) tomorrow, Friday 31st October 2008 between 12:00 and 13:00. Whoever sees the New Moon is invited to come to give their report at 8 Beer Sheva St., Jerusalem. To enter, go into the outer door then through the door that is in front of you.
