  סלוחה על האיחור. הירח נראה מהארץ ביום ו' ב' אדר א' תשס"ח. מחיספין, אורי מזרחי ראה את הירח ב-17:08.מכפר מצליח, נריה הרואה ראה אותו ב-17:30. מעיר העתיקה, ירושלים, נחמיה ודבורה גורדון, ויוהאן שוט ראה אותו ב-17:35 ופרנס אילסי ב-17:41. מגבעת שמואל, ירושלים, גדי אידלהייט ראה אותו ב-17:23. היו עננים במעלה אדומים.

 

  ביום ה' א' אדר תשס"ח הירח נראה בטלסקופ ומשקפת בלבד על ידי ג'ים שטאם בין 18:13 ו-18:42 מטוסון, אריזונה, ארה"ב.

 

  מחר (ט"ו אדר א' תשס"ח) לפנות בוקר יהיה ליקוי לבנה מלא. מהארץ הליקוי החלקי יתחיל ב-03:43 ויגיע למלא ב-05:01. הליקוי יגיע לשיאו ב-05:13. ב-05:26 הוא יהפוך שוב לחלקי עד שהירח ישקע ב-06:19.

 

  בחודש הבא הירח ייראה בשבת א' אדר ב' תשס"ח אם לא יהיה מאוד אביך. מירושלים והמצב דומה לשאר הארץ, הירח יכול להופיע החל מ-17:46 כאשר הוא יהיה באזימות °267 ורום °10. באופן נדיר הירח ייטע ימינה. אם התנאים מאוד אביכים הירח לא ייראה עד למחרת.

 

  Sorry for the delay. The Moon was seen from Israel on Friday 8th February 2008. From Chispin, Uri Mizrachi saw the Moon at 17:08. From Kfar Matsliach, Neriah Haroeh saw the Moon from 17:30. From the Old City, Jerusalem, Nehemia and Devaorah Gordon and Johan Schutte saw it at 17:35 and Ferenc Illesy at 17:41. From Givat Shmuel, Jerusalem, Gadi Eidelheit saw it at 17:23. It was cloudy in Maale Adumim.

 

  On Thursday 7th February 2008 the moon was seen with a telescope and binoculars only by Jim Stamm between 18:13 and 18:42 (UTC-7) from Tucson, AZ, USA.

 

  Tomorrow (21st February 2008) morning there will be a total lunar eclipse. From Israel the eclipse will start at 03:43 (UTC+2) and become full at 05:01. The eclipse will be maximum at 05:13. At 05:26 the eclipse will return to being partial until the Moon sets at 06:19.

 

  Next month the Moon will be visible on Saturday 8th March if it is not very hazy. From Jerusalem and similarly from the rest of Israel, the Moon may appear at 17:46 at azimuth 267° and altitude 10°. Unusually, the Moon will appear to tilt right. If it is very hazy, the Moon will only be seen the next day.
