ביום ד' כ"ט אלול תשס"ז ניסו כמה אנשים ממקומות שונים בארץ לראות
את הירח. כצפוי, הירח לא נראה למרות שמיים בהירים. ביום ה' א' תשרי תשס"ז
הירח נראה מהארץ. ממרכז ירושלים דבורה גורדון ראה את
הירח ב-18:45, פרנס אילסי ב-18:47, נחמיה גורדון ב-18:49, נריה הרואה
ב-18:50, זיו אריאלי ב-18:51 ו-יוהאן
שוט ב-18:55. דני לוי ראה את הירח ב-19:00 מהר נוף ירושלים. מעופרה, נעמה אביי ראה אותו ב-18:47 ואליהו כץ ב-18:48. מנתניה, אבי ודינה מרקוס ראה אותו ב-19:05.
אולי אפשר לראות את הירח מהארץ בעזרת טלסקופ בלבד ביום ו' ל' תשרי
תשס"ח וניתן לראות אותו בין עירומה בדרום מערב ארה"ב. מהארץ נא לחפש את
הירח בשבת א' חשון תשס"ח. בצפון אירופה הירח ייראה
רק ביום ראשון או בשבת בעזרת משקפת. מירושלים (והמצב דומה לשאר הארץ) ייתכן הראיה
בשבת בין 17:05 ו-18:02. הירח יופיע בתחילה שמאלה משקיעת השמש באזימות °237 ורום
°10.
On Wednesday 12th
September 2007 a number of people from various locations in Israel looked
for the Moon. As expected, the Moon was not seen despite clear skies. On
Thursday 13th September the Moon was seen from Israel. From
central Jerusalem, Deborah Gordon saw the Moon at 18:45, Ferenc
Illesy at 18:47, Nehemia
Gordon at 18:49, Neria Haroeh
at 18:50, Ziw Arieli at
18:51 and Johann Schutte at 18:55. Danny Levy saw the
Moon at 19:00 from Har Nof,
Jerusalem. From
Ofra, Naama Abaye saw it at 18:47 and Elliyahu
Kaatz at 18:48. From Netanya,
Avi and Dina Marcus saw it at 19:05.
It might be possible to
see the Moon from Israel
using a telescope only on Friday 12th October 2007 and with a naked
eye from the south western USA.
From Israel
and most of the world, please look for the Moon on Saturday 13th
October 2007. In northern Europe, the Moon
will only been seen on Sunday except with binoculars. From Jerusalem
(and similarly for the rest of Israel)
the Moon should may be visible between 17:05 and
18:02. The Moon will initially appear left of the sunset at azimuth 237° and
altitude 10°.
