  נא לחפש את הירח היום א'. הירח ייראה מהארץ ורוב העולם ביום א' ל' שבט תשס"ז. הירח יהיה קשה לראייה בדרום אפריקה, סקנדינביה והודו ולא ייראה עד למחרת מאוסטרליה. התצפית מסקנדינביה תהייה חשובה משום שחסר תצפיות עם הגיאומטריה הזאת. אני מתכוון לערוך תצפית בירושלים אבל לא תהיה תצפית קבוצתית מאורגנת.

 

  יהיה ליקוי מלא של הירח בליל פורים מוצאי שבת אור לי"ד אדר תשס"ז. הליקוי (צל מלא) יהיה בין 23:30 ו-03:12 (שעון חורף) ויהיה מלא בין 00:44 ו-01:58. הליקוי ייראה מרוב העולם.

  Please look for the Moon on Sunday. The Moon should be seen from Israel and most of the World on Sunday 18th February 2007. The Moon will be difficult to see from South Africa, Scandinavia and India and will only be seen the next day from Australia. The observation from Scandinavia will be important as we lack data for this geometry. I am intending to observe from Jerusalem but there will not be an organized group observation.

 

  There will be a total lunar eclipse on the night between Saturday and Sunday 3rd-4th March 2007. The umbral eclipse will take place from 23:30 (UTC+2) till 03:12 and will be total between 00:44 and 01:58. The eclipse will be visible from most of the World.
