נא לחפש את
הירח מחר (יום ו' א' אייר תשס"ו, למעט מדרום אפריקה ואוסטרליה ששם הירח רק
יופיע בסוף שבת). הירח יהיה קשה לראייה (ולא ייראה אם אביך מאוד). אם נראה, הירח
יופיע בארץ בין 19:22 ו-20:07, מעלות אחדות למעלה וקצת ימינה ממקום השקיעה. היא פעם
הראשונה מזה עשור כאשר סהר הירח יירה מהארץ נוטע שמאלה. אם הירח לא ייראה נא להסתכל
בסוף השבת. לא ייצא דיווח עד אחרי שבת. נא להתקשר אליי במוצאי שבת אם ניסית לראות
את הירח ל-052-3849276 כדי שאוכל לדווח על תצפיותיכם בהקדם האפשרי. אפילו אם ניסית
ולא הצלחת לראות את הירח דיווחך חשוב כדי לקבוע הסתברות הראייה בתנאים אלה. לכן נא
להתקשר.
Please look for the New Moon tomorrow
(Friday 28th April 2006, except in South
Africa and Australia where the Moon will only
be visible the next day). The Moon will be difficult to see (and will not be
seen if it is very hazy). If seen, the Moon will be visible
in Israel
between 19:22 and 20:07 and will appear several degrees above and slightly to
the right of where the sun set. This is the first time in a decade that
the New Moon might be seen to tilt to the left from Israel. If the Moon is not seen,
then please try the next day. No report will be issued till after Shabbat. Please
call me after Shabbat if you tried to see the Moon on 052-3849276 (+972 52
3849276 from outside Israel
after 20:30 UTC+3 = 17:30 UTC) so that your observations can be reported as
soon as possible. Even if you tried and did not see the Moon your report is
important to determine the likelihood of visibility under these conditions, so
please call.
