Dear All,

The Moon was not seen tonight from Israel (Saturday 3^rd December 2005) due to clouds. The Moon should have been clearly visible but clouds were reported from Arad, Jerusalem, Maale Adumim, Ofra and Poria. Last night (Friday 2^nd December 2005), the Moon was not expected to be visible to the naked eye and it was in any case cloudy in all the above locations.

Next month's New Moon should be clearly visible on Sunday 1^st January 2006 from Israel and the rest of the World. However, from Scandinavia, it will be very difficult to see. The Moon may just be visible from the southern USA a day earlier on Saturday 31^st December 2005.
