  The New Moon was clearly seen last night from Israel (Wednesday 8th June 2005). Elliyahu Katz saw it from Ofra at 19:34, from Jerusalem by Avraham Shisel at 19:37, Devorah Gordon at 19:44, Ferenc Illesy at 19:50 and Nehemia Gordon at 19:51 and from Talmon by Naama Abaje at 19:49. There are reports that the Moon was seen the previous night from Arizona, USA on Tuesday (7th June 2005) but I have not yet been able to confirm them.

  Next month's New Moon should be visible on Thursday 7th July 2005 (unless the sky is VERY hazy) from Israel and most of the rest of the World.
