Dear All,
The Moon was seen clearly tonight (Sunday 10th April 2005) from Israel. I saw the Moon from Maale Adumim with binoculars at 18:44 and with the naked eye starting at 19:00 till it set behind the mountains at 20:27 (T 24°C, P 963mbar, RH 30%).
The New Moon as seen from
The Moon was seen last night (9th April) from the USA in several locations. The best documented report so far came from Jim Stamm of Tucson, AZ. He saw the Moon with the naked eye starting 19:00 (UTC-7) (T 19°C, RH 25%).
Next month’s New Moon should be clearly visible from Israel on Monday 9th May 2005.
