Pictures from the Symposium!
We would like to thank Mr. Butros Hallac and Mr. Boris Bazanov who contributed many of the beautiful pictures in the Symposium album.

The Farkas Symposium on photochemistry in organized media, to be held on the Dead Sea shore in February 2008, will discuss experimental and theoretical studies of photochemistry in organized media, including surfaces, clusters, matrices, helium droplets and any other form of organized environment.

Organized media play an important role in many natural photochemical processes, such as photosynthesis, vision, light induced fatigue and discoloration. Light often acts differently in an organized medium, as compared to homogeneous environments such as static gas or liquid solution. The symposium will bring together experts from different fields and will give an opportunity for exchange of ideas and possibly generation of novel approaches combining different technologies.
